Dr (Cand) Stevanus Nalendra Jati

S. Nalendra is a geologist who began his career in coal exploration at PT. Arutmin Indonesia from 2011-2014. He worked as a modeller for open pits planning and his expertise was also utilized by the Ministry of Public Works for conducting disaster risk analysis on national roads in Indonesia. Currently, he is focusing on knowledge and higher education at the Geological Engineering Faculty in Sriwijaya University.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in various research projects and has published numerous scientific articles. His educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Structural Geology and a master's degree in coal seam geometry. He is currently working as a lecturer at Sriwijaya University, where he serves as a coach for students and alumni organizations. In terms of professional experience, he has held positions at PT. Arutmin Indonesia, where he monitored dredging operations and production targets.

He has also conducted research on coal properties and cleat attributes in the Tanjung Enim coal field and has analyzed the impact of climate change on water availability in South Sumatra. In addition to his research work, he has also been involved in community service projects, such as the management of disaster risk in the Mahakam River basin. His scientific publications include articles on topics such as coal seam quality, the accuracy of digital elevation models in identifying geological structures, and the estimation of micro-hydro power plant resources. Overall, S. Nalendra is a highly skilled geologist with expertise in coal exploration and disaster mitigation, and he is actively contributing to the field through his research and publications.
